“Frills Out. Savings In!” from PaperOnly

Launching today, the new PaperOnly website offers savings, service, and success to commercial printers.

Introduced by Unisource Canada, PaperOnly is a new venture addressing the hurried needs of the printing industry. The billion-dollar company distributes thousands of products across multiple industries on their unisource.ca website, but they identified an opportunity to serve the commercial printer market segment better by providing a streamlined e-commerce experience. “Targeting printers directly is a smart move,” says Freddy Davy, Account Director at HTC. “They function on extremely tight deadlines and PaperOnly gives them exactly what they need to keep low-cost, frequently ordered supplies only a click or two away.”

To build the PaperOnly website, HTC created a simplified clone of the existing Unisource site, offering only a fraction of the sizeable Unisource catalogue. “To do this,” Davy explains, “we duplicated the IgnitionWeb back-end, restricted the product listings to PUR Value paper stock only, and redesigned the front-end interface.” HTC incorporated the new PaperOnly logo and colour palette (black and yellow) as well as paper airplane branding elements throughout the site. The overall effect communicates the simple and speedy process PaperOnly offers printing houses.
 
“The PaperOnly clone site is one of the many initiatives Unisource has employed to address the needs of their clients,” adds Davy. “Their focus is on making their online ordering experience as user-friendly as possible by acting on feedback.  It’s the perfect strategy to maximize the return on their investments in the years to come.”
